How to Cook Healthy, Easy and Fast

There are two primary reasons why some people who want to lose weight ultimately fail: the first stems from a rigid belief that in order to eat healthy, one must go on a forager’s diet: eating boring, bland bamboo shoots, sprouts and seeds and other culinary buzzkills.

The second reason involves speed. There’s a good reason why the masses of American workers who do not have the luxury of a two-hour Italian-style family lunch instead opt for the convenience of the drive-thru window.

Dinner is no exception; there’s no time to shop for healthy, fresh ingredients when there’s a house to clean, helping the kids with their homework, getting lunches ready for the next day...it’s no wonder that microwaveable TV dinners are still so prevalent in supermarkets.

But there is a way to prepare easy, fast, healthy meals, every day. If you have just a few minutes to spare, chopping fresh, preferably organic vegetables, then you can make a filling, nutritious meal.

Miracle Noodle, a zero-calorie, zero-carb, all-natural pasta substitute derived from the root of a yam plant, requires much less time to prepare than high-carb noodle dishes. Simply remove the noodles from the packaging, rinse them in cool water, drain and then lightly boil for a couple minutes.

Next, simply throw them in a saute pan with chopped veggies, add some sauce and/or olive oil, along with spices like sea salt et voila...a healthy, simple yet gourmet meal that takes under 10 minutes to prepare.

While the stir fry is warming up, bake a healthy lean protein like wild salmon in the oven. You’ll have a meal comprised of the three critical macronutrients to a superior state of well being: low-blood sugar carbohydrates, chock-full of antioxidants (veggies) and natural fat and protein from the salmon [substitute with grass-fed beef or organic chicken] and olive oil.

Facing the thought of a daunting commute home back from work and having to spend an hour on your feet in the kitchen will force many striving healthy eaters to give up, opting for simple sodium-saturated, unhealthy dishes.

Miracle Noodle’s pasta substitutes or Miracle Rice, which is also calorie-free, can easily be added to a stew, stock or soup. This is perfect especially when the weather is cold and you need something to add bulk and make it more filling, without the high carbohydrate load that ultimately leads to bloating and bigger love handles.

There are dozens of recipes that can be prepared with Miracle Noodle. In fact, if you need inspiration, for a limited time only, Miracle Noodle is offering a free download of its Miracle Noodle Recipe Book (a $29.97 value), stocked with over 80 pages of quick, healthy, meals.

Here’s the instructions from just one such simple and quick meals: Shrimp and Miracle Noodle:

  • Place the vinegar, lemon juice, tomato puree, water, salt and pepper into a bowl and mix thoroughly. Set sauce aside. Place the garlic, ginger, shrimp and spring onions into a hot wok and stir continuously for 1-2 minutes until hot. Drain the bag of Miracle Noodles and add to the wok. Stir for 1 minute. Add the sauce mix into the wok and stir for 2 minutes.
