known as Moyu or Juruo
in China, and Konnyaku
or Shirataki in Japan.

Lasagna - Here is a post from the forum from Pikatopia.
1 pkg of shirataki Miracle Noodle Lasagna
1 small can tomato sauce (your choice)
1 tub of ricotta cheese (I opted for low cal, fat free)
1/4 cup egg beaters (to mix in the ricotta, or one egg)
as much mozzarella to your liking
parmesan (also to your liking)
spinach or meat or whatever else you like in your lasagna
herbs to taste
I preheated at 425 for about 30 mins, while I prepared and baked the lasagna for about 45 mins -- it came out perfect -- crisp on the top and all the yummy goodness on the inside.
By my calculations, with the ingredients I used, the entire thing is about 270 calories -- and depending on your appetite, can last for a few meals.

I couldn't think of what to make for dinner one night. I had some beef stew meat and chicken breasts defrosted and decided I'd cut up the chicken breasts and toss it in my wok with the stew meat and add vegies and make a stir fry. I looked through my sample packs of Shirataki miracle noodles and came across the ones shaped like shrimp. They were called vegetarian shrimp. I decided these would be perfect for the stir fry. I put a little safflower oil in the wok and added the beef. Cooked for awhile and added the chicken breast pieces. Cooked till no longer pink. I added some cut up celery, onion, green pepper, cherry tomatoes and the Shirataki, vegetarian shrimp miracle noodles. Seasoned with salt and pepper and garlic. You can add terriaki sauce or something to that nature but I liked it plain because I'm doing low carb. This was the first time I fed my husband any of the miracle noodles and he loved it. He said the noodles were good and it even felt like he was eating shrimp in the stir fry!! Yummy. Make it with whatever meat and vegies you want, it's delicious. Don't know the carb count but it can't be very much!
This one is our Mac N' Cheese Pasta of Choice!!

Hand Knots - This variety is used as a seafood substitute for vegans just like the vegetarian shrimp. It is angel hair shirataki that is wrapped into knots. We use it in our gnocchi recipes but others add them to stews.
